The Spring Seekers blog will be temporarily closed and asks will be disabled starting today. Many of you are probably a bit disappointed, and for that I sincerely apologize.
However, do not worry as this is only temporary. With PMDE closing, a couple friends and I have decided to create a new canon so as not to waste the development our characters have already gone through during their time in Tao. We’re still ironing out the details, but as soon as everything is in order, the blog will be reopened.
On another note, there will be a couple of changes made here in preparation for it’s eventual reopening. Team Lydia will be removed from the canon and the url will be changed. This is because Lydia’s storyline was much more closely tied to PMDE’s plot. Rest assured, this will not be the last you’ll see of Caroline.
Secondly, all Asks currently in the Inbox will be deleted. I sincerely apologize that I was unable to get to them sooner. However, I’d like to start fresh once the blog reopens, and most established PMDE relationships will be retconned.
That’s about it for this announcement. Thanks to all my friends and followers who’ve followed us up to this poont. We’ll see you again soon.
me, as of late
Everyone, let’s hold hands, in painful times even more tightly,Let’s combine our strength, come on, come on, let’s hold hands,Let’s hold hands forever and ever.
Well, I can’t say I didn’t see it coming. And yet it did so much sooner than I anticipated. I haven’t really contributed much to the group, I don’t think. My characters weren’t all that developed outside of discussions with friends, despite a lot of thought being put into their storyline. So despite what little I submitted to the group, I don’t really feel like all the effort I put into it was for naught. I mean after all, I was able to befriend a lot of good people and fall in love with some very interesting characters in that short time.
I think the thing that makes me the most sad is that I won’t be seeing those characters as much as I’d like anymore. I can hope that their story continues, but I doubt it will have the same momentum it did as when they were part of the group. Even so, I have faith in these characters and their talented creators. I hope their stories will meet a satisfying conclusion, even though it may take longer.
As for me, I’ll still be keeping at it. I’d like to show those people I respect so much just how much I’ve learned from them. And the best way to do that is to continue Spring Seekers’ own story. After all, a lot of thought went into these guys, and I feel like their followers still don’t know them well enough.
If and when the new group opens up, I’d definitely like to join it. However, that will probably still be a long way off. In the meantime, I shall try and develop the plot more via the ask blog. It should be more interesting now that there are less restrictions to how their story unfolds.
So a fond farewell to PMD-E. It was fun while it lasted, but I suppose there are just some sacrifices that have to be made in the pursuit of something better. And to those that think they have lost the memorable part of their online lives, just remember that it is not truly gone. It shall be remembered by many, and those fond memories will help build something just as or even more important to you.
Jewel: Ahaha, she’s a bit soft spoken.
Jewel: Aah no need to apologize!
Irving: So miss Clarice; I was hoping to meet you because of something interesting miss Jewel mentioned. If you do not mind, I have some questions you might be able to answer…
Clarice: U-um fire away I suppose.
